Dam Assessment Project

In working with Fisheries and Oceans’ Fish and Fish Habitat Protection Program/Ecosystem Management Branch ERMA team members conducted field work in the fall 2020 to assess dams located in fish-bearing watercourses for aquatic connectivity. The dams were assessed for their potential to have an impact on connectivity for various fish populations found within specified central Newfoundland waterways.
