Interests: Dave has been the president of the Exploits TrailNet for the past 11 years. He has a passion for riding, trail development and improving the infrastructure here in Central Newfoundland. Dave is also the President of Exploits Valley Paving which is a major employer here in Grand Falls-Windsor. Dave has received national recognition from the Canadian Blood Services as a peer recruiter and himself has donated blood on 60+ occasions. Dave was honored with the Grand Falls- Windsor, Volunteer of the Year in 2019 and is the steward of World Rivers Day here on the Exploits. Dave has been a mentor to many young fishermen here in our community and has held a fly tying class after school for over 10 years. He is a biology teacher by trade and has a keen interest in the hatchery and restocking of our rivers here in Central.
